After six extraordinary years, I have made the difficult decision to close the Asklepios Garden studio and pause production for the foreseeable future.
This is not an announcement I ever imagined making.
Asklepios Garden began as a deeply personal vision: to create beautiful, holistic skincare rooted in exceptional botanicals, sensorial ritual, and a belief that caring for our skin could also be a form of caring for ourselves.
Over the past six years, that vision has taken me further than I could have imagined. Asklepios Garden has been incredibly fortunate to receive recognition and press from Vogue, ELLE, Forbes, TED, OUT, Global TV, and many others. I have met extraordinary people, worked with remarkable retail partners, and experienced opportunities that will stay with me for a lifetime.
Most of all, it has been a pure joy to watch my clients discover Asklepios Garden and fall in love with these products I poured so much of ourselves into creating.
But the landscape has changed. Rising costs, an increasingly challenging economy, difficulty securing the investment needed to continue growing, and the impact of current US administration policies have made it impossible for us to sustain production in the way I believe the brand deserves.
So, for now, I am closing the doors to our Vancouver Island studio and pausing production.
To my clients, retailers, collaborators, family, friends, and everyone who believed in Asklepios Garden: thank you. Thank you for every order, every kind word, every introduction, every review, every shelf, and every moment you shared with me.
Six years is a remarkable chapter. I am incredibly proud of what we created together.
And while this chapter is closing, I don’t believe the story necessarily ends here.
